Come along and meet Bright Ideas Challenge finalists from the ICT stream. We’ll shout you a drink and facilitate introductions to help build teams to go forward to the next stage. We welcome software developers, web designers and database specialists plus people with experience in technology strategy, marketing or finance or anyone with a great tech idea that needs to build a team. Join us for Wellington’s annual celebration of Software Freedom!
This year SFD Wellington is all about innovation, celebrating the exciting and inspiring technology built on platforms and values of free and open software. This will include demonstrations by developers, community groups and businesses that are using or creating FOSS.
Sunday 19 September will be a mix of “un-conference” style sessions, where attendees will suggest topics and participate in discussions. There will also be organised activities and speakers, entertainment, demo’s, something for everyone, including families with kids, students, hobbyists, developers, businesses and government policy-makers.
