We have an amazing waterfront location and a challenging and fun work environment, waiting for the last Java developer to join our R&D team before our launch - is that person you?

What you'll need if you're going to fill the last position before launch:

You'll obviously be a highly skilled Java developer, but you'll also work well with a team, where you can provide insightful and well thought through ideas. You'll also be open to new ways of solving old problems.
You'll have had more than straight Java web application experience and will have experience with distributed / concurrent systems.
We would expect you to have needed a minimum of 4-5 years (working with Java) to get to an expert level. You'll also need to be a very quick developer and fast learner.
You'll have a real interest in Cloud computing and new ways to build software.

Our New Zealand version of iWantMyName is going well and it was great to actually meet some of our NZ customers at LCA2010 recently.

iWantMyName is evolving into an industry platform as we improve functionality and forge partnerships offshore. On the domain retail side we are getting a lot of interest from small business owners who can customise their cloud services such as GMail, Zoho and Blogger from within their domain management interface.
