For all of you who didn’t manage to make it to the Wellington Convention Centre through the torrential rain and gales on July 5th we had a brilliant turn out, great speakers, enthusiastic and keen exhibitors and lots of help. A big thank you to everyone who made the event memorable (and we hope, repeatable). If you did miss it, or want to re-live the experience, Filibuster
Films NZ Ltd have produced a video of the speakers which is now viewable online now thanks to StreamingNET On Demand Provided by CityLink.
Our speaking sessions went without a hitch (technical or otherwise), and we didn’t even give our guest speaker, Paul Reynolds who braved flying in from Auckland a chance to grill the speakers between talks and even resulted in a couple of related articles in InfoTech.
Special thanks to Parkside for providing all the great Tone, MacGuide and D-Photo magazines which disappeared almost as quickly as the bar snacks. Thank you also to NZ Wireless for providing free wireless internet and some extra funding for power and the bar tab, once again thanks to the Apple Division of Rennaisance Ltd for being stars again and providing us with an Apple iPod Nano for a draw on the night.

All the exhibitors showcased some great products, ideas and technology but it had to be an UP executive member who took the back off their hardware just to show it off.
We’ve had some great feedback from all participants, so if you didn’t quite make the connection on the night and want to get in touch with any of our speakers or exhibitors, leave a comment below or contact us.
An overview of the speakers and exhibitors is also available.
We have video of the talks up and hope to get the video interviews with some of the exhibitors up on the site (volunteer and time willing), but will keep you posted.
Great night was had by all, huge amount of networking was done, and everyone left happy... we've done our job.
