 teer webmasters\npeople communicating with members using the 
 web\, email or social network for an all-volunteer group\npaid
  comms professionals or a part/ full-time webmasters in a no
 t-for-profits\nsomeone responsible for almost everything in a
 n office\, including communications\nan industry professional 
 wishing to give back to the community and share your knowled
 ge and experience.\n\nParticipate in the Engage your community
  (EYC) unConference event if you:\nwant to talk with others w

 ring and learning alongside your peers\nare seeking ways to i

  difference. Rather than having a preset agenda\, at the Enga
 ge your community (EYC) unConference anyone attending can su
 ggest topics\, run a session\, dive in. Everyone who attends\, 
 collectively creates the agenda.\n\nTogether we’ll create a 
 friendly\, supportive environment where anyone can find answe
 rs to their questions about using the web/ IT to engage peop
 le and stay connected.\n\nWe’re not the only ones running th
 is type of open\, participatory gathering. Unconferences are 
 common amongst IT communities. Even in Aotearoa New Zealand 
 we’ve had foocamps\, barcamps\, wordcamps and cloudcamps. Fi
